The GPS coordinates posted online just 24 hours before the event start.
We packed up and hit the road. Little did I know I would spend the next 4 days staying up well past sunrise, in a scene that felt like another planet.
Annabelle and I took a 600 mile direct flight to the Alvord Desert in one day. Located in the far-southeastern corner of Oregon, it's so close to Nevada you could throw a rock into it. Quite the stretch from Everett for this small piece of travelcraft, especially with a dirt bike strapped to the back.
My first few seconds at the UNRally, I was greeted by Ashley like this:
